Explanation

Always try to remain calm and give clear simple explanations to avoid confusion or escalate the situation.

I was focusing on the current situation and not bringing up anything about his past record. Telling him that his actions affect others, may give him a new perspective to think before acting.

He used words such as "I understand" in a calm tone. He gave a response after every statement I made which showed he was listening.

We don't want to nitpick and pull people into conversations too frequently as it could irritate them and escalate the situation. It is best to let some of the minor things go unless it is affecting other players in that moment.

Serial tried to fix the mistake quickly and allowed everyone to continue the roleplay scene. The scene plays out well and provides a variety of roleplay oppurtunities so there is no reason to stop everything for one mistake.

Staff members are here to help players when needed. I noticed that Serial told him he could revive, so I helped by getting him up quicker so he could continue having fun.

This player is frustrated because the staff member pulled him away from something he was doing. As the staff member tried to explain, the player keeps trying to make it seem like he is in the right.

Always try to listen to the player and acknowledge what they are saying unless they are simply being disrespectful for no reason.

Do not let staff sits carry out longer than they have to. Try to avoid arguing or debating with the player. Explain what they did wrong, give the infraction or talking to, and then send them on their way.

Staff members are not suppose to act like parents, you don't have to always have everyone behaving properly around you. Focus on what the main issue is unless a major rule break happens.

The staff member showed up, focused on why he was brought there, fixed the issue, and left without interrupting anything or causing more commotion.

The player keeps claiming that it wasn't him and that his ID changed. This shows that he's not only aware of how staff handle reports, but also that he was trying to quickly prove the staff wrong.

Trolls do things to get reactions and make a big scene. The best thing to do is to not feed into it and just carry out the punishment. Trolls do not listen to reason.
