Protagonista y narradora de la historia. Es una joven chilena que vive en República Dominicana y vuelve a Chile durante sus vacaciones. Es observadora, sensible y escribe lo que vive en su diario.

Mejor amiga de Ema. La acompaña durante las vacaciones y participa activamente en la búsqueda de soluciones para ayudar a Sofía. Es leal, decidida y solidaria.

Abuela de Ema. Vive en Chile y recibe a Ema durante sus vacaciones. Es cariñosa, protectora y algo estricta, pero se preocupa mucho por su nieta.
