Durante el experimento con globos y la simulación en PhET , se observó el comportamiento de una determinada cantidad de gas cuando variaba la , mientras la presión permanecía .

Inicialmente , las partículas presentaban un movimiento y el gas ocupaba un volumen normal .

Al aumentar la temperatura , las partículas comenzaron a moverse más y a separase entre sí , provocando que el gas ocupara un volumen .

Posteriormente , al disminuir la temperatura , las partículas redujeron su velocidad y se unas a otras , haciendo que el volumen del gas .

A través de la simulación , se comprobó que existe una relación proporcional entre la temperatura y el volumen del gas .

Esto permitió verificar la primera ley de Charles y Gay - Lussac : a presión constante , el volumen de un gas aumenta cuando la temperatura y disminuye cuando la temperatura .
