El balón en juego se pone en movimiento al inicio y después de cada gol mediante un saque de inicio.

Un saque de meta lo puede ejecutar cualquier jugador del equipo defensor.

El partido se juega entre dos equipos de 11 jugadores cada uno, incluido el portero.

Los jugadores no pueden tocar el balón con las manos durante la jugada, excepto el portero dentro de su área.

Un jugador de campo puede tocar el balón con la mano siempre que no esté defendiendo.
