About this activity

Hey everyone!

We have revamped our Flex Time policy in 2026. Please take a moment to review the updated policy before playing this quick game to test your understanding. You can find this on page 7 of the Personnel Policy or Article 7 of our CBA.

Happy Matching!

Aubrey and the P&C Team

ICYMI, here's an excerpt from the updated policy:

When an exempt employee is required by the Alliance to work additional hours past forty-five (45) hours in a workweek or at any time on a weekend or holiday, the employee or their manager may request an hour of flex time for each extra hour worked, subject to HR approval.

Flex time is to be used in the same pay period in which it is earned. If an employee under this Section cannot utilize their earned flex time in the same pay period, they must obtain HR approval before using the flex time outside of the pay period in which it was earned.

An employee is not entitled to a payout of accrued flex time upon separation from employment. The Alliance will not unreasonably compel staff to engage in extra hours. Employees will not face discipline for declining to accept emergency assignments requiring extra hours or for not responding to requests during non-working hours unless there is an explicit expectation or responsibility that requires responsiveness.

A note for Part-Timers: Your Flex Time threshold will be pro-rated based on the number of hours your work per week. For example, if your Job Description calls for 20 hours per week, you will be eligible for Flex Time after working 22.5 hours in a week.
