La única forma de anotar es desde dentro de la zona de dos puntos, incluso desde fuera de la cancha.

Un equipo puede jugar con más de cinco jugadores en la cancha al mismo tiempo.

Si se viola la regla de dos pasos, el equipo contrario no recibe ningún saque ni balón.

Un tiro libre vale un punto.

Se puede hacer un pase a un compañero sin botar el balón.

No se deben dar más de dos pasos sin botar el balón (regla de los dos pasos).

Se debe botar el balón para desplazarse cuando se tiene el balón.

Un tiro desde fuera de la línea de tres puntos suma tres puntos.

En baloncesto no existen tiros libres ni líneas de tiro libre.
