Para resolver básicas de números imaginarios , se usa el concepto de i , donde i^2 = - 1 . Al realizar la y la resta , se suman o restan las partes reales separadamente de las partes imaginarias . En la multiplicación , se aplica la propiedad ( a + bi ) ( c + di ) = ( ac - bd ) + ( ad + bc ) i . Para la división , se multiplica por el del denominador : ( a + bi ) / ( c + di ) = [ ( a + bi ) ( c - di ) ] / [ c^2 + d^2 ] . Practica con ejemplos y verifica que i^2 = - 1 .
