Un texto expositivo tiene como finalidad al lector sobre un y conceptos de forma clara y objetiva . Se apoya en una lógica , con una tesis , desarrollo y para ilustrar ideas . El lenguaje es sencillo y preciso para facilitar la comprensión , evitando opiniones personales y centrando la atención en hechos verificables . El objetivo pedagógico es que el lector desarrolle una visión objetiva y pueda distinguir entre datos y juicios .

En las mitologías prehispánicas de Mesoamérica y los Andes , los mitos explicaban el origen de la vida , los ciclos de la lluvia y la creación del mundo . Los relatos de narran cómo el serpiente emplumada enseñó a los hombres a cultivar maíz y a honrar a los dioses . La mesoamericana combinaba rituales , astros y agricultura , mientras deidades como y simbolizaban el agua y el orden cósmico . Cada mito transmitía normas sociales y valores como la reciprocidad .
