El está formado por el y los cuerpos que orbitan a su alrededor , entre ellos ocho . Los planetas se dividen en y gaseosos : Mercurio , Venus , Tierra y Marte son rocosos ; Júpiter , Saturno , Urano y Neptuno son gigantes . La dinámica estructural implica órbitas elípticas , rotación sobre su eje y interacciones gravitacionales entre cuerpos . Un ocurre cuando la Luna se interpone entre la Tierra y el Sol ; un sucede cuando la Tierra obstruye la luz que llega a la Luna . Los eclipses dependen de la inclinación orbital .
