Explicación

La meiosis II tiene como objetivo separar las cromátidas hermanas. Al finalizar este proceso se forman cuatro células haploides (23 cromosomas).

La meiosis II es muy parecida a la mitosis porque en ambos procesos ocurre la separación de las cromátidas hermanas. La diferencia es que la meiosis II ocurre en células haploides.

Los cromosomas duplicados se alinean en el centro o ecuador de la célula. Esta posición facilita que las cromátidas hermanas puedan separarse correctamente en la siguiente etapa.
