About this activity
Student A reads a word in the box aloud.
Decide: does the verb end with /ɪd/ or /t/?
Pronounce the words on the platforms. Find one that has the same ending sound.
Student B listens carefully and says if they agree or disagree.
If you both agree, click the platform with the matching word.
Then it’s Student B’s turn to say a new verb from the box.
If you make two mistakes, you go back to the beginning of the game.
