Todas las palabras que contienen la letra 'j' deben empezar en la oración con 'jo-' para estar bien escritas.

La terminación '-aje' nunca lleva J; siempre se escribe con G.

Si una palabra contiene la sílaba 'gi', siempre debe pronunciarse como /x/ sin excepción, independientemente de la etimología.

La letra J se usa para representar el sonido /g/ duro en español, cuando se encuentra entre vocales.

Se escribe J al inicio de palabras como 'junio' y 'jardín'.

La G siempre debe ir seguida de vocales 'a', 'o' o 'u' para sonar como /g/ duro, por ejemplo 'gato' siempre debe ser 'ga' o 'go'.

Cuando la raíz de una palabra contiene un sonido /g/ suave antes de 'e' o 'i', se escribe 'gue' o 'gui' (con la 'u' muda) para mantener el sonido /g/ suave, como en 'guerra' o 'guiño'.
