En De lo Humano y lo Comunitario no se tratan aspectos de convivencia ni vida sana.

Otro campo es Saberes y Pensamiento Científico, que abarca matemáticas, biología, física, química y tecnologías.

Las asignaturas se organizan únicamente de forma aislada sin interacción entre saberes.

Los campos formativos son Lenguajes; Saberes y Pensamiento Científico; Ética, Naturaleza y Sociedades; y De lo Humano y lo Comunitario.

La Nueva Escuela Mexicana no contempla interacción entre diferentes disciplinas.
