En junio de 1935 , Carlos Gardel se encontraba realizando una exitosa gira ( 1 ) varios países de América Latina ( 2 ) promocionar sus últimas películas y consolidar su fama internacional . El 24 de junio , su avión hizo una parada técnica en el aeropuerto de Medellín , Colombia , ( 3 ) cargar combustible .

( 4 ) desgracia , durante la maniobra de despegue , el avión se desvió de la pista ( 5 ) causas que aún hoy generan debate y chocó de frente contra otra aeronave . La trágica noticia se difundió rápidamente ( 6 ) la radio , conmocionando al mundo entero .

Muchos fanáticos lloraron desconsoladamente ( 7 ) las calles de Buenos Aires . ( 8 ) los amantes del tango , ese día el hombre dejó de existir ( 9 ) convertirse en una leyenda eterna . Aún hoy , casi un siglo después , la gente visita su tumba y le deja cigarrillos encendidos ( 10 ) pura devoción
