Se distinguen claramente delitos, faltas graves y faltas leves para orientar la intervención.

La seguridad se garantiza con castigos estrictos sin intervención formativa alguna.

El modelo tiene tres niveles de intervención: Contención, Resolución de Conflictos y Transformación.

La intervención restaurativa se usa solo en espacios formales y no involucra al grupo-clase.

La Paz Duradera se logra solo con contención y sin transformación pedagógica.

El modelo considera solo a los estudiantes y no a familias ni comunidad.

La paz duradera se define a partir de inclusión, equidad y participación.
