No es necesario revisar visualmente la fuente en busca de daños.

Un multímetro no puede medir voltajes en una fuente de poder.

Desconecta la fuente de alimentación de la red eléctrica antes de manipularla.

El PS_ON se activa automáticamente al enchufar la fuente.

Prueba el encendido puenteando el cable verde (PS_ON) con un cable negro para activar la fuente sin PC.

La lectura de voltajes debe mostrarse siempre exactamente 12V en todos los rieles.

Verifica voltajes en los rieles de 12V, 5V y 3.3V con un multímetro.

Usa un probador de fuente (PS tester) para simular carga básica.

Revisa visualmente que la fuente no tenga olores a quemado y que los condensadores no estén hinchados.

Durante la prueba se debe conectar la fuente a la red eléctrica y a la placa madre al mismo tiempo para iniciar el test.
