Outside , the rain fast and the wind blowing through the trees . Inside the warm house , Clara was in a big chair . She was a very interesting book . Her small rabbit was sleeping on the floor next to her . Everything was very quiet . Suddenly , at midnight , a loud noise came from the kitchen . The rabbit woke up and under the sofa . Clara stood up quickly and dropped her book on the floor . While she was walking to the kitchen , the lights in the house . She walked slowly in the dark . While she was walking , she heard another sound . Someone was moving things inside the kitchen ! Clara opened the door and turned on the light on her phone . She looked around the room . Suddenly , a black cat jumped off the table ! Clara screamed , but then she laughed . The window was open . The wind was blowing the curtains . The poor cat was shivering because it was wet . It was looking at a broken plate on the floor . The cat broke the plate when it onto the table . Clara took the cat in her arms and gave it some warm milk .
