Si conocemos A, a y B, b se halla con b = a · sin B / sin A.

Si A es mayor que B, entonces a es mayor que b (no siempre es determinante por la sin()).

La ley del seno dice que a/sin A = b/sin B = c/sin C = 2R, donde R es el radio circunscrito.

La ley del seno puede usarse para encontrar el área de un triángulo sin usar alturas ni bases.

Si un ángulo A mide 30° y el lado opuesto a = 10, entonces el radio R es 5.

La ley del seno también se aplica a triángulos obtusángulos sin problemas.
