We then experiment to see how much it holds We do this by having a class competition to see how our design compares to other designs Set of steps used to design a solution to a problem We learned about the the chemistry of glue, how to make glue, and which glue is stronger We discussed or will discuss in our groups which glue to use AND how to design the bridge Determine how to make glue & use it to design and build a mini toothpick bridge that holds the most weight We do this by seeing how much the bridge hols and then discussing & thinking of ways to improve on the idea/design
