We then experiment to see how much it holds We learned about the the chemistry of glue, how to make glue, and which glue is stronger Determine how to make glue & use it to design and build a mini toothpick bridge that holds the most weight We discussed or will discuss in our groups which glue to use AND how to design the bridge We do this by having a class competition to see how our design compares to other designs We do this by seeing how much the bridge hols and then discussing & thinking of ways to improve on the idea/design
