Un ratón salió a dar un paseo por el bosque profundo y oscuro . Un zorro lo vio y le pareció un bocado delicioso .
? ¿ A dónde vas , ratoncito pequeño y peludo ? ? preguntó el zorro ? . Ven a mi cueva y comeremos juntos .
? Eres muy amable , zorro , pero no puedo ? respondió el ratón ? . He quedado de verme con el Grúfalo .

? ¿ El ? ¿ Y qué es un Grúfalo ? ? inquirió el zorro .
? ¡ Un Grúfalo ! ¿ Es que no lo sabes ? Tiene colmillos terribles , garras afiladas y dientes horribles en una boca espantosa .
? ¿ Y dónde has quedado con él ? ? preguntó el zorro con curiosidad .
? Aquí junto a estas . Por cierto , su comida favorita es el zorro asado .

? ¡ ¿ Zorro asado ? ! ? gritó el zorro asustado ? . ¡ Me voy ! ¡ Adiós , ratoncito ! ? y salió corriendo a esconderse .
