Définition

"Le passé composé est un temps composé de l'indicatif. Il se forme avec l'auxiliaire avoir ou être au présent, suivi du participe passé du verbe"

Exemple: Nous avons visité CANAL7.

L'auxiliaire

La majorité des verbes se conjuguent avec l'auxiliaire "avoir". 

J'ai visité le musée. 

Tu as cassé le verre.

Il a volé le vase.

Nous avons lu un livre.

Vous avez fait l'exercice.

Elles ont dansé pour le spectacle.

Etre

Mais quelques verbes se conjugent avec ETRE comme auxiliaire: 

- Les verbes de la maison: aller, venir, partir, arriver, sortir, passer, rester, tomber, monter, descendre, naitre, mourir, entrer, retourner. 

Exemples: 

Je suis allé.

Tu es entré.

Il est sorti. Elle est sortie. 

Nous sommes restés.

Vous etes partis.

Ils sont tombés / Elles sont tombées.

Avec AVOIR le participe passé est invariable !

Ils ont parlé.

Avec ETRE le participe passé s'accorde au féminin et au pluriel:

Il est sorti. Elle est sortie.

Ils sont tombés. Elles sont tombées.
