La ley de cosenos se utiliza cuando conocemos dos lados y el ángulo incluido.

La ley de cosenos solo puede aplicarse si se conocen los tres lados.

Si A = 90°, entonces c = a + b.

La ley de cosenos se aplica c^2 = a^2 + b^2 - 2ab cos C.
