La de grupos en distintas regiones respondió a de seguridad informal ante crisis sociales . Su se justificó como defensa de comunidades , pero terminó alimentando y descalabros institucionales . En muchos casos , actores estatales y no estatales facilitaron la para controlar rutas , contrarrestar insurgencias o mantener presión política . A nivel sociopolítico , estas estructuras oscurecieron el marco legal , derechos y complicaron el proceso de paz , dejando un legado de miedo que persiste más allá del conflicto .

En la región , grupos operaban con una mezcla de disciplina y violencia . Sus convoyes recorrían comunidades bajo la sombra de la , obligando a los a elegir entre la seguridad improvisada o la huida forzada . Las antiguas resonaban en las calles , mientras la población lidiaba con rumores , trampas y represión . Las intentaban negociar aunque la desconfianza entre combatientes y vecinos complicaba cualquier acuerdo . El conflicto dejaba cicatrices profundas , preguntas sobre responsabilidad y una memoria que persiste .
