En la ciudad de Numeralia , un equipo llamado Detectives de resuelve misterios cotidianos usando operaciones simples . Cada caso empieza observando cómo se reparte una tarta entre amigos : el objetivo es encontrar cuánta porción corresponde a cada uno . Los detectives verifican el y el para entender la fracción , y luego comparan con posibles . Cuando aparece un problema de suma o resta , descomponen las piezas como fracciones con denominadores comunes . Así descubren patrones , simplifican números y demuestran que las partes también cuentan .
