El jazz nació con una mezcla cultural que ligaba los ritmos y melodías populares y africanas . La zona donde el Jazz comienza a emerger es en , en concreto en la ciudad de Nueva . 20 años más tarde , el cierre de Storyville , que era el en el que más de Jazz en directo se hacía supuso que ciudades como Nueva York o se hicieran realmente famosas en cuanto a su cultura musical vanguardista .
