Galileo Maxwell Einstein Thomson Ptolomeo Newton Aristóteles

Muchos consideran a como uno de los primeros científicos , él era también un antiguo filósofo griego , que nos habla que los cuerpos tienen un lugar natural . El greco - egipcio muy conocido en el ámbito de la física ( 100 - 160 d . c ) , afirmo que : " La Tierra está en el centro del Universo y alrededor de ella giran los astros " . En el Siglo XVI impulsó el empleo sistemático de la verificación experimental y la formulación matemática de las leyes físicas . Con el telescopio observó que Júpiter tenía satélites girando a su alrededor . Descubrió la ley de la caída de los cuerpos y del péndulo . En el Siglo XVII ( 1687 ) formuló las leyes clásicas de la dinámica y la ley de la gravitación universal .
En el Siglo XIX se producen avances fundamentales en electricidad y magnetismo . En 1855 unificó ambos fenómenos y las respectivas teorías vigentes hasta entonces en la Teoría del electromagnetismo . En 1897 descubrió el electrón .
Durante el Siglo XX la Física se desarrolló plenamente , en 1905 publica su teoría de la relatividad especial y más adelante la relatividad general .
