Today , the computer is king . We use computers for everything . Computers are in our cars , homes , offices _ everywhere . Technology controls our lives . We have machines to do everything for us , from washing our clothes to making our food . Many people like this . They want the comfort of modern living . However , one " Newsweek " survey found that up to twenty - five percent of adults have a different / opinion . They dislike the importance of modern technology in their lives . Some of these people even choose to fight against / technology . They prefer the simple / life of the past . They want to do things the traditional / way .
