Localizas el zócalo de la placa base, que en este ejemplo es un Pentium4 con socket PGA478, quitas la pegatina, y levantas la patilla, ¡OJO! La patilla no se levanta diréctamente hacia arriba

Colocación microprocesador

Colocación y orientación del microprocesador. 

Colocas el procesador en el zócalo, la marca de orientación del procesador tiene que coincidir con el del socket o zócalo, si no, no encajará.
