Hi Dana ,

I started my new job today ! But can you believe it ? I almost woke up late . My alarm clock always goes on ( automatic ) , but today it didn't ring . Luckily , I woke up early !

I chose my outfit very ( careful ) because I wanted to dress ( nice ) for my first day . And I didn't want to arrive ( late ) , so I left home early . I always get ( impatient ) and stressed when the traffic is ( slow ) . And then there are all those ( reckless ) drivers ! Anyway , I made it to work with no problems .

My boss seems really ( serious ) . he likes everyone to do their work ( proper ) , and he feels ( strong ) that everyone needs to get along ( good ) . There was a lot to learn , but he ( patient ) explained all my responsibilities . the job is very similar to my old one , but they do things a bit ( different ) here . He also introduced me to everyone . It's hard to remember all my co - workers' names , but I need to learn them ( fast ) .

Anyway , the day went by ( quick ) , and I'm back home now . I'm really tired , but I can't wait to go back to work tomorrow .
