Explanation

Area measures the space that it takes to cover a 2-D figure.

To find radius, you divide the diameter by 2. 30 divided by 2 is 15.

Five squared means 5 x 5 = 25.

To find area of a circle, multiply 3.14 times radius squared. 10 squared is 100 and 100 times 3.14 is 314.
