Dear Mates magazine ,

I'd like some advice on a problem I've had at school , which seems ( possible ) to solve .
I missed some work because I was unwell and then we had an ( formal ) test - not an actual exam . I tried to learn as much as I could , but I got stuck , so my friend passed me a note . We were really ( lucky ) as the teacher saw us ; she said all cheating is ( acceptable ) so she gave us both zero for the test .
Some people might think we were ( honest ) , but I think loads of people do it , so it's ok . It's not ( legal ) , so does it matter ? My friend says it's very ( fair ) , but what can I do now ?
I've had an ( argue ) with my friend about this because she wants me to go and explain things to the teacher , but that will make things worse , won't it ?
