Para calcular la suma de los ángulos de cualquier polígono tenemos que el número de que se forman desde un por . Para saber el número de triángulos que se forman desde un vértice solo debemos al número de del polígono .
Por tanto la formula para calcular la suma de los ángulos de cualquier polígono sería :

Además en los polígonos regulares , que son los que tienen todos sus y iguales , podemos saber cuanto mide cada uno de sus ángulos , para ello solo debemos calcular la de todos sus y por el número de del polígono que sera el mismo que el número de que tenga .
