Like we learned on Monday, the past tense speaks about actions that have already happened. Like what you did yesterday or for Easter. 
How would you say: I am so happy to see Ms. Jenn on Zoom! in the past?
Answer: I WAS so happy to see Ms. Jenn on Zoom.
