Whenever a verb ends with a vowel followed by a consonant and the stress is on the syllable , you must the and add - ed . But , when a verb ends with a vowel followed by an - l , you must the - . Then some verbs end with a - c . In that case , you need to add - . And last but not least , all the other verbs just get - as an ending . Easy , right ?
