i ) Vectors are agents of carrying foreign DNA segment . They are able to freely / autonomously because they have their own of replication . They possess multiple sites ( MCS ) to receive DNA . They are able to express these foreign DNA . They possess genes for screening such as ampicillin resistance ( ) . Some of cloning vector examples are plasmid , and cosmid .

ii ) Palindrome is when the same base sequence is read in opposite direction on a double stranded DNA . Palindrome forms sites for restriction enzymes , which will both of the DNA strands .

iii ) Sticky ends are produced when the restriction enzyme produce cut . This will produce , which is hanging complementary single strand of DNA at the cut ends . DNA with complementary sticky ends are able to / join . Some examples of enzymes that produce sticky end are BamHI and .
