Learn this ! Present Perfect ( affirmative ) : irregular
Many verbs have irregular past participle forms . There are no specific rules , but you can divide them in groups to remember them more easily .

Group 4 : past participle with only 1 different letter
The past participle forms of all these verbs are very similar to their simple present and past forms , but we have to change only 1 letter :
begin - began - BEGUN / drink - drank - DRUNK / ring - rang - RUNG
sing - sang - SUNG / swing - swang - SWUNG / swim - swam - SWUM

Complete this poem with the correct verbs in past participle :

My dear friend has gone !

Her journey she's and her lyrics I've
She's in the lake whose water we've
My bells I've for her to come
And I still wait for her near the swings where we've

My dear friend has gone and her lyrics I've
In that kindless lake her journey has
My bells I've for her to return
And I'll always wait for her near the swings where we've
