This is a process of separating of two liquids. This consists of heating the mixture until one of liquids start to boil, while the other remains liquid and in the original recipient.

When you have two liquids with different densities, it is possible to separate them with this process. The denser fluid goes to the bottom of the recipient, while the less dense fluid stay on top of the other one.

This procedure is used to separate heterogeneous and homogeneous mixtures in which there are a solid and liquid. this could be dissolved or not.

It refers to passing a mixture through a filter. Some of the mixture components can't pass through it while the other components pass freely. Brewing coffee is a good example.

If, in a heterogeneous mixture of two solids, there is a magnetic element, this method can be used to separate the components of the mixtures
