 Armen alardeak ( ) Erdi Arotik datoz , hauen eginkizuna , jai handietan . antolatzen ziren herri - ematea zen .
Euskal Herrian , Erdi Aroaz geroztik , Foruen arabera , herri bakoitzak antolatzeko zuen , eta horietan parte hartzen zuten 18 urtetik 60 bitarteko .
Hondarribian , 1638ko Setioaz geroztik , erabaki zen Guadaluperainoko , eta , " armen orokorra " egitea , , 1638an egindako Botoa betetzeko .
1639 . urtea baino Armen egiten zen ez zen .
