About this activity

La historia de las computadoras es interesante desde la primera ENIAC, manejada por 6 mujeres Betty Holberton, Jean Bartik, Kathleen Machly, Marilyn Meltzer, Ruth Teitelbaum and France Spence. Ellas la programaban en varios días según la dificultad, estaba pensada para resolver la operaciones utilizadas en las tablas de la trayectorias de proyectiles, que hasta la fecha se hacían manualmente. La ENIAC podía realizar 5 mil sumas por segundo, sin embargo fue terminada en 1946, luego de la segunda guerra mundial (setiembre de 1945). Luego apareció la IAS con el concepto de programa almacenado, similares en organización y arquitectura a las computadoras actuales.
