The HDD is the most common storage device used to store data. HDD stands for "Hard Disk Drive." "HDD" is often used interchangeably with the terms "hard drive" and "hard disk." However, the term "hard disk drive" is technically the most accurate, since "hard drive" is short for "hard disk drive" and the "hard disk" is actually contained within the hard disk drive.
A.
the importance of the HDD.
B.
the different definitions of HDD.
C.
how we can choose the correct HDD.
D.
the amount of data storage that might have a HDD.
2.
Technically, a computer is a programmable machine. This means it can execute a programmed list of instructions and respond to new instructions that it is given. Today, however, the term is most often used to refer to the desktop and laptop computers that most people use. When referring to a desktop model, the term "computer" technically only refers to the computer itself - not the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Still, it is acceptable to refer to everything together as the computer. If you want to be really technical, the box that holds the computer is called the "system unit."
A.
the types of computers.
B.
the parts of a computer.
C.
the use of the term computer.
D.
how we should call a computer.
3.
DDR3 stands for "Double Data Rate Type 3." DDR3 is a type of SDRAM that is used for system memory. It is available in both DIMM and SO-DIMM form factors. Although some computers now have DDR4 and DDR5, most manufactures still use DDR3 memory modules which look similar to old DDR and DDR2 chips, but the gap that separates the two sets of pins on the bottom of each module is in a different location. This prevents the RAM chip from being installed in a slot that does not support DDR3 RAM. Therefore, when upgrading your computer's memory, make sure you get the appropriate type of memory for your computer.
A.
the evolution of SDRAM in computers.
B.
the type of SDRAM your computer need.
C.
how to know which SDRAM has your computer
D.
some differences between DDR3 and other SDRAMs
4.
Software is a general term for the various kinds of programs used to operate computers and related devices. It is often divided into application software, which are programs that do work users are directly interested in, and system software, which includes operating systems and any program that supports application software. The term middleware is sometimes used to describe programming that mediates between application and system software or between two different kinds of application software. For example, sending a remote work request from an application in a computer that has one kind of operating system to an application in a computer with a different operating system.
A.
Application software
B.
Middleware definition
C.
Types of software
D.
The importance of the software
5.
Abbreviated as HW, Hardware is best described as any physical component of a computer system that contains integrated circuit board, ICBs, or other electronics. A perfect example of hardware is the screen on which you are viewing this page. Whether it is a computer monitor, tablet or smartphone; it's hardware. Without any hardware, your computer would not exist, and software could not be used.
A.
Definition of software
B.
Definition of hardware
C.
Definition of smartphone
D.
Definition of computer monitor
