  • Aljafería: is a fortified medieval Islamic palace built during the second half of the 11th century in Zaragoza. the palace reflects the splendor attained by the kingdom of the taifa of Zaragoza at the height of its grandeur

  • Alcazaba: is a palatial fortification in Málaga. It was built in the early 11th century.

    This is the best-preserved Alcazaba in Spain.  the entrance of the Alcazaba are ruins of a roman theatre dating to the 1st century BC, which are undergoing restoration.

  • Giralda: is a former minaret that was converted to a bell tower for the Cathedral in Seville. The tower is 104.1 m in height and it was one of the most important symbols in the medieval city.

  • Torre del oro or gold tower: is a dodecagonal military watchtower in Seville,built  in order to control access to Seville via the Guadalquivir river.                                                                                          Constructed in the first third of the 13th century, the tower served as a prison during the Middle ages                                                                                             The tower is divided into three levels, with the third and uppermost being circular in shape and added in 1769.
