PARTS DEL PLANETA

El planeta Terra el podem dividir en diferents parts, com si d'una peça de fruita es tractés.

Des d'aquest punt de vista, distingim:

  • La litosfera
  • La hidrosfera
  • L'atmosfera
  • La biosfera

LA LITOSFERA

  • La litosfera és la capa  sòlida més externa del planeta Terra i on es troba el relleu terrestre.
  • Pensem que la litosfera és la part superficial del planeta. Com veurem, "flota" per sobre d'una altra capa: l'astenosfera
  • Per sota l'astenosfera trobem part de mantell i el nucli

LA HIDROSFERA

  • La hidrosfera és la capa formada per les aigües que del planeta Terra. 
  • Ocupa el 71% de la superfície terrestre.
  • Com veurem, bona part d'aquesta aigua no es pot fer servir fàcilment pels éssers vius

L'ATMOSFERA

  • L'atmosfera és la capa gasosa que envolta el planeta Terra
  • Hi tenen lloc els fenòmens meteorològics.
  • La veurem detingudament més endavant.

  • La biosfera és la capa on viuen els éssers vius
  • També correspon a la capa on té lloc l’activitat dels éssers vius.
  • Està molt relacionada amb les altres capes
