Se concibe como una práctica de enseñanza orientada a:
  • La acción, donde se parte de los pre-saberes
  • La Construcción del conocimiento
  • Ejercicios prácticos donde se involucren temas de su diario vivir.
  • La resolución de problemas de manera reflexiva no mecánica
  • El trabajo colectivo.

La implementación de este modelo de aprendizaje es muy útil en cualquier área, puesto que:
  • El niño tiene contacto con el material concreto de su entorno
  • Desarrolla habilidades y Destrezas
  • Promueve la creatividad en los niños
  • El docente orienta y guía el aprendizaje
  • El niño junto con sus compañeros construyen el aprendizaje
  • La pedagogía se vuelve más dinámica y enriquecedora
