Geografía

El Caribe se divide en:
Antillas Mayores, donde encontramos a Cuba, Haití, República Dominicana, Jamaica y Puerto Rico, las cuales son islas que están atravesadas por una cadena montañosa.

Antillas Menores, está conformada por Barbuda, Dominica, Martinica, Granada, Barbados, Trinidad y Tobago, Curazao. Todas ellas islas que contienen volcanes y estrechas planicies costeras.

Economía

Los países caribeños viven de la agricultura y el turismo. Estos países poseen bellas playas y un mar cristalino con peces tropicales. Sus ciudades tienen atractivos centros históricos.

Pueblos

Antes de la llegada de los europeos, diversos pueblos indígenas vivieron en la zona, pero actualmente la población aborigen está extinta. 

Los idiomas que se hablan en esta zona son: español, inglés, francés y holandés.

Política

Estos países tienen distintos grados de desarrollo político. Hay una nación socialista que es Cuba. Un territorio sin autoridades, como Puerto Rico. Un país con pobreza e inestabilidad: Haití. Democracias estables como Jamaica. Y finalmente Colonias, como las islas Caimán, que son británicas.
