¿Qué es una sílaba tónica?

La sílaba tónica es aquella que se pronuncia con mayor fuerza, en una palabra. O bien, son aquellas que llevan el acento en la palabra.

Ejemplo:

Ejemplos:  in-clu-sión, re-fle-jo, brú-ju-la.

El resto de las sílabas de la palabra se llaman sílabas átonas y se pronuncian con menor intensidad.

Ejemplo:

Las sílabas tónicas son las que llevan el acento de la palabra, pero no necesariamente llevan tilde:

  • Acentuación con tilde. Por ejemplo: excursión, subordinación, pájaro, murciélago, mártir.
  • Acentuación fonética o prosódica. Por ejemplo: amistad, comprar, regalo, parque, vista, plomo, calabozo.
