Teoría

En inglés, "is" y "are" son formas del verbo "to be" (ser o estar) en el presente. Se usan para describir personas, objetos, lugares y situaciones y cambia según el sujeto (quién o qué es / hace algo). Con el sujeto "I" no se usa "is" ni "are", sino "I am", o también en su forma corta "I'm", que ya hemos utilizado en ejercicios anteriores.


Además, "is" y "are" se utilizan a menudo con formas terminadas en "-ing" para expresar acciones que están ocurriendo en este momento. Puedes encontrar las formas en "-ing" en la Sesión 9.
