  • Affirmative: Subject + base form of the verb (e.g., I play).
  • Negative: Subject + do/does not + base form of the verb (e.g., She does not play).
  • Interrogative: Do/Does + subject + base form of the verb? (e.g., Do you play?).

The present simple is used in various contexts, including:

  • Habitual Actions: I go to the gym every day.
