"I," "me," and "my" are clues you must take, For I'm the voice that stories often make. What point of view am I? Hints 1 Look for the storyteller who uses "I," "me," and "my". The narrator is inside the story, experiencing it firsthand. 2 He runs, she dreams, they all take part, Told from afar, yet close to the heart. Names replace “I,” and “you” steps aside, An outside voice is your faithful guide. What point of view am I? Hints 1 The narrator is outside the story, using "he," "she," "they," and characters' names to tell what’s happening. 3 You walk the path, your choices unfold, The story is yours, brave, daring, or bold. "You" are the hero in each written line, Guided by words that feel solely thine. What point of view am I? Hints 1 This one speaks directly to you. You're not just reading the story—you are in the story. 4 I shape the tale you see and hear, From inside the mind or far and clear.
