Marie Antoinette is the queen of France.

She is young, elegant, and very famous.

Her clothes are expensive and beautiful.

But she isn't popular with the people.

The people are angry and poor.

They think the queen isn't helping them.

She is living in a big palace, but many people aren't happy.

The queen isn't afraid at first.

She thinks the revolution isn't real.

But the revolutionaries are strong.

Now, Marie Antoinette is in danger.

The palace isn't safe anymore.

She is very worried.

The year is 1789.

France is in crisis.

The people are hungry and angry.

The king and queen aren't helping them.

Marie Antoinette is still living in Versailles.

She is rich, but the people aren't.

The revolution is starting.

Paris is full of protests.

The royal family isn't safe anymore.

In 1793, Marie Antoinette is in prison.

Her life isn't like before.
