Passive Voice

PASSIVE VOICE. - In sentences in the active voice, the primary focus is on the subject. To give primary focus to the object of the sentences, the sentence can be changed to the passive voice.

Active:  Nine planets   orbit   the sun.  (Focus: nine planets)

Passive:  The sun is   orbited by   nine planets.  (focus: The sun)

Active:  The USA coordinated the first space programs. Passive:  The first space programs were coordinated by  the USA.

Complete the passage using the simple present passive voice form
